Curator supports Finder Tags and lets you add, remove, filter and organize your content with tags.
You can add or remove tags right inside of Curator and your changes will be synced to Finder auto-magically.
Tagging an item in Curator
- To assign a tag to a Tile or Folder, right-click (or
CTRL
+ Click
) the item
- Go to "Add a Tag" ...
- Then choose a tag to add it.
💡 Tip: All assigned tags are listed in the sidebar. To assign a tag to more items, just drag the items to a tag you wish to assign in the sidebar.
Tagging an item in Finder
- Right-click (or
CTRL
+ Click
) the item you wish to tag.
- Click on "Show in Finder" to bring it up in Finder.
- Then assign one or more tags in Finder and they will show up in Curator.

Untagging an item in Curator
- Double click on an tile or folder to open it.
- You should see currently assigned tags to the right (for a folder or tiles that have a portrait layout) or at the bottom (for tiles that have a landscape layout).
- Hover your mouse pointer over a tag to see "Remove" button (an
X
icon).
- Click on the "Remove" button to remove the tag.
Untagging an item in Finder
- Right-click (or
CTRL
+ Click
) the item you wish to untag.
- Click on "Show in Finder" to bring it up in Finder.
- Go ahead and remove the tag(s) in Finder and your changes will be synced to Curator.

Tagged items are grouped together in the Sidebar by label and color. To see all tiles and folders that have a specific tag assigned to them, just click on the tag in the sidebar.
Showing tagged items in the current folder
- Click on the "Filter" icon in the toolbar.
- Go to "Show" .
- Click on a tag label.
- To exit the filter, press
